Call now
A break-in, a storm, or an open hole where glass used to be
A shattered storefront or a broken door left the place open. That gets boarded up the same call, then the glass follows.

View serviceThe honest part
A working glass guy tells you when the cheaper fix is the right one. This is the same call Frank makes standing in front of the pane.
| Usually a Repair | Usually a Replacement | |
|---|---|---|
| Chip size | Smaller than a quarter | Larger, or already spreading |
| Crack length | Shorter than a dollar bill | Longer, or growing |
| Location on the pane | Out of your line of sight | Reaches the edge or crosses your view |
| Typical turnaround | Same day | A day or two once the glass is cut |
A chip smaller than a quarter, or a crack shorter than a dollar bill and out of your line of sight, almost always gets repaired rather than replaced. Once a crack reaches the edge of the pane, keeps spreading, or sits somewhere you look through every day, the pane comes out instead.
Chip repairs are usually a same day job. Cut-to-fit residential glass and tempered door panels typically take a day or two once the correct glass is measured and ordered.
“Same crew, any hour. No answering service.”
“One crew, no call center. The person who picks up is the person who quotes the job.”

Questions
Yes. It rings to the crew, not to a service that takes a message and calls you back in the morning. If it is 2 a.m. and your slider is shattered, that is who picks up.
We work from Boca Raton across the county, from Jupiter down through Boynton Beach and west to Wellington. Tell us your city when you call and we will tell you straight whether it is a same day job.
Yes, that is usually faster for both of us. A photo of the crack or the frame tells us more in one look than a five minute description, and it lets us start figuring out what glass to bring.
It comes down to size and location. A small chip or a short crack out of your sightline is usually a repair. Once a crack reaches the edge of the pane, keeps spreading, or sits right in your eyeline, the pane gets replaced instead.
Call the number that actually rings to the crew, or send a photo and we will call you back.
