Abacoa is the newer, planned side of town: 2,055 acres developed starting in 1997 on land that once belonged to John D. Construction ran in phases through 2016, when Windsor Park closed out new building. That history is part of why Jupiter's oldest housing stock, clustered around the inlet where the town's postwar growth started, is genuinely older in code terms than what you'll find in most of the county's newer service-area cities. It's a fact specific to this stretch of coastline, not something that applies anywhere else on this list.
